The Tampereen Messut Oy, Tampere’s fair, offers interesting spaces for many different events. A versatile and contemporary structure, which needs to be furnished with elegant, indestructible as well as flexible items.

“Concepts by Braida” has supplied 1.000 chairs.

The customer has chosen the Moon chair, made in solid wood. Both the seat and back are upholstered with fire retardant polyurethane foam and covered with a light grey artificial leather. This kind of upholstery is easy to clean and highly rub resistant. If compared to other kinds of leather and fabrics, the artificial leather is also advantageous in terms of price/quality ratio.

The customer wanted the chairs to be stacking, so that they could be used when necessary and then stacked in a safe way.

The original model was not stacking. It was therefore necessary to modify the structure, to strengthen the joints which are object of strain, in order to avoid the collapse of the structure, due to the weight and to the intensive use. “Concepts by Braida” has moreover added an upholstered panel in the lower part of the seat shell, so that the artificial leather won’t be damaged while the chairs are stacked.

This is how the Moon chair has become stackable for max. 6 pieces.

A league tables and chairs

“Stadio Friuli”

While furnishing a public place like a stadium, safety is the main focus. In the second place comes resistance, an indispensable characteristic for places object of intense use.

“Concepts by Braida” has supplied tables, beam seatings, bar stools.

The customer wanted to furnish the stadium’s restaurant but he didn’t have a precise project.

Based on the space and on the ideal number of people to shelter, “Concepts by Braida” has made a proposal: black and white seatings in honour of the Udinese team’s colors, arranged in order to optimize the spaces, matching the tables and swivelling bar stools. All these items have been arranged in order to be floor fixed for safety reasons.

Before launching the production, “Concepts by Braida” has checked together with the Catas, the Italian test laboratory that operates in wood & furniture, which are the law requirements to fulfil in order to furnish a public place like this.

GO BACK

The production of tables and chairs was launched after receiving from the Catas all the information needed, and upon approval of the surveyor Marco Colautti, project supervisor.

The bar stools are a mix between the Dynamica’s collection shell and a frame produced especially for this project, similar to the model Ingrid V795, with floor fixing. The seat is swivelling with the automatic return mechanism.

For this project, “Concepts by Braida” has also taken care of the furniture’s assembling and fixing, giving a complete turnkey solution.

The items have been validated 1IM, in compliance with the Italian fire reaction classification.
