The Sofitel Tour Blanche has a view on Casablanca’s roofs.  A 5-star hotel conceived and furnished with the idea of making its guests feel like if they were in a luxurious oasis out of time. 

“Concepts by Braida” has supplied the chairs, the tables and the accessories.

The customer, a general contractor, has first tested “Concepts by Braida”’s production skills with a first order of 800 chairs for the hotel Al Baraka in Marrakech, in Morocco. These chairs had to be produced in 8 weeks.

The customer was satisfied and asked “Concepts by Braida” to supply another hotel in Casablanca. This project was much more complex. The total budget included the production of more than 40 different types of chairs, upholstered items, tables and accessories including some unique items, which were meant to furnish several hotel’s spaces: the hall,  the restaurant , the conference room, the lounge zone, the guest rooms and all the public spaces.

All the seatings had to be produced upon Sofitel architects’ recommendations.

“Concepts by Braida” has decided to produce the prototypes for about ten items, in order to guarantee the correct execution based on the drawings. During the meeting with Sofitel’s architects, “Concepts  by Braida” has suggested some slight changes in the dimesions, esthetics and functionality, as well as some technical arrangements in order to find a meeting point between the customer’s and the production’s needs. The “Hotel Terminus” in Naples is part of the Starhotels chain, a series of 4-star and 5-star hotels celebrating Italian style and hospitality.

“Concepts by Braida” has supplied chairs, headboards and accessories.

“Concepts by Braida” has supplied the hotel Terminus step by step during four years, until all the hotel floors have been renovated. The furniture has been therefore supplied on several occasions.

The desire of creating a cozy and warm environment that could be representative of the Italian style, imposed the search for accurate and personalized solutions.

In order to prepare the first guest rooms sample, “Concepts by Braida” has made some prototypes of the chair and armchair. After having received the approval of the Directive Board, they have started producing all the pieces of furniture required.

The chairs have been designed on purpose in order to obtain  the desired style, which is the same in the guestrooms and in the hotel’s public spaces.

The bleached oak frame matches with the seats and backs upholstered in artificial leather. The seat’s lower border is completed with brass upholstery nails, enriching the design.

The hotel’s interiors, designed by Philippe Starck, create a very peculiar design equipped with all the comforts needed in the several suites.

The request was to produce a comfortable office chair, upholstered and swivelling, where each guest could work in a cozy way. A chair conceived to give relief to the guests who have to sit down for many hours.

The 4-star hotel belonging to the Clementi Group Hotels aims to be a meeting point between art and nature. The location is enviable, the hotel overlooks a private beach and offers its guests the comfort of an elegant environment and the hospitality of an accurate service. The International Beach Hotel has been renovated since 2018.

Concepts by Braida has supplied the chairs and the coffee tables for the lounge area and for the bar.

Before starting with the renovation works of the vast convivial spaces dedicated to the relaxation, the refined atmosphere has been defined by choosing tenuous and restful colors. The palette includes white and dove-grey with a mark of apple-green.

In order to accomplish the desire of offering hospitality, the hotel owners have chosen three models of Concepts by Braida’s Soft collection.

Queen is a lounge chair characterized by a refined design. Its backrest is high and enveloping, the Queen has been conceived with the aim of creating comfortable and cozy spaces. Concepts by Braida offers the possibility of personalizing each seating, thanks to this service it has been possible to upholster the armchairs with the same colors chosen for painting the walls.
